MISSION
The Epiphany Classic Basketball Tournament & Community Day is a 6 week event designed to serve children and families in Brooklyn through a youth 5 on 5 basketball tournament, program resources, prayer, and fun.
Our goal is to use this event to continue long term relational discipleship between local youth and their families through presentation of the Gospel!
AUDIENCE
Join our FREE 5-on-5 basketball tournament with uniforms, player draft events, food, and trophies included. Open to two divisions: 13 & under (D2) and 17 Under (D1). The action ends with a Championship Game and an All-Star Game for the top players. Grab your team and come show what you’ve got! 🏀🔥 (Space is limited)

VOLUNTEERS
We are seeking volunteers spread across multiple shifts during the basketball tournament and Community day, on August 8, 2026. We are also seeking Coaches, Production Team Members, Setup/Breakdown, Pick-up/Drop-off, Nurse(s) and Statistician. Coaches must be willing to commit to 2-3 hours each week per team scheduled games.
Shifts:
Coaches:
Various times (2-3 hours a week minimum) based on game schedule
Pick-Up/ Setup Team:
9:30 am - 10 am
Setup Team:
10 am - 11:30 am
Breakdown/Drop-off Team:
3:30 pm - 5 pm
GENERAL Shifts/ Team Support(Weekly) /Community Day:
Morning Shift: 9 am - 12 pm
Afternoon Shift: 1 pm - 4 pm
We are also seeking Coaches, Production Team Members and Statistician Coaches must be willing to commit to 2-3 hours each week per team scheduled games.
Production team will have two shifts 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm Statistician will be needed throughout the day 10-2pm.
We need volunteers for: supporting youth players one-to-one (tracking stats, making sure they have what they need, etc.), court monitors (keep score and time), serving food, an MC, face painting, setup and teardown, referees, runners, welcome booth/table, and prayer. You can volunteer below.
